Squeaker

Did I mention that I have yet one more "buddy" that keeps me company? I was thinking of my blog name and he came to mind. His name is Squeaker - and he's your typical plastic lizard toy and happens to have a speech impediment. I must say the noises that issues from his chest are anything but complimentary. I mean, can you imagine being a lizard and doing nothing but squeaking in a falsetto voice? It doesn't boost your ego, let me tell ya. I'm not sure where he came from, but he appeared on the windshield of someone's car one morning. I best not say how, since the truth is incriminating. Anyway the owner of the car is a friend of mine. He was gracious enough not to turn the lil' hitchhiker out, but let him become the guardian of the backseat of his car. I've been in the back of the car a number of times as I've piled in with my siblings and other friends. Anyway, in a fit of randomness (I know that shocks some of you) I "adopted" Squeaker. He has several squeaks indicating happiness, sadness, mischievousness, irritation, and retaliation. It's been great fun playing with him (and tormenting whoever happens to be in the front seat). I "rescued" him this afternoon from my friend's desk and will be watching out for Squeaker (as best as one can considering he will be in a drawer) while said friend is on vacation. One of these days I might borrow a camera and take a snapshot of Squeaker to show you all...
