So...

So...maybe one of these days I might actually get photos of all "Rabbit's friend's and relations" up on this blog - starting with Scrat and Squeaker. With the help of my dad, I got a cool Palm that acts as a MP3 player and camera too. I've already had fun taking random pictures so once the software gets installed on my PC at my desk I'll see what I can do about pictures. While I am no photographer myself, I can appreciate good pictures.
So... my department has been reduced to a handful of brave souls who have yet to circum to a nasty cold bug going around (or who are trying to recover - like myself). Out of the 7 full time staff and numerous part time staff - there were only four of us in the department today. While we are praying for God to give us more people - the joking remark of another staff member caused me to agree, wryly: "I can see why you need more desks". It really must look crazy to people who don't follow Jesus to see us believe Him for things we can't see - like people sitting in desks we don't even have yet. And it must seem even more preposterous when God actually makes it happen - beyond what His people asked or imagined.
So... have you ever cleaned the common areas of a building from fire sprinklers to bathroom floors to baseboard? I do, every week with several staff, interns and youth at the ministry. I've helped clean (and organize) this weekly workout for about 3? years. It's gone from being one of the most stressful and stretching times of my week to actually a lot of fun (as God taught me to let go and trust Him each time). It's a joy to work with the people and especially the youth. They are my friends and I've gotten a kick out of watching them grow up. They're great and I couldn't ask for more willing and humble helpers.
