Relationships 101

So I got a new book to read on Friday. It's a small one so I need to read it several times before it all sinks in. The one trouble with speed reading and a good, but small, book. Book's called Relationships 101 (thus my blog title). Basically outlines "what every leader needs to know" about relating to their workers, not just telling 'em what to do. It's pretty good and I'm about done with my first round of reading. A set of cool quotes include:
"If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives - do good anyway."
"Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable - be honest and frank anyway."
"People really need help but may attack you if you help - help them anyway."
"If better is possible, then good is not enough."
Leadership is everything about serving those "under" you - as well as relating to them as people and not just laborers. Anyway for whatever that's worth.

Is it a Christian book? I would pray that the people you work with are not as bad as those quotes. Keep love them anyway.
