How do I love autumn? Let me count the ways...

I just love the autumn! It's such a relief from the scorching summer heat and a/c dependence. Just about all my friends are falling over backwards at the thought of a post from my delinquent self. But hey, I've got cider at my elbow and 45 min til prayer meeting. And I'm inspired :)

• I was pleasantly surprised that while Starbucks changed the name of it's gingerbread latte - the change was for the better ("gingersnap latte") and so was the ginger sugar pieces.
• I'm enjoying the variety of color this fall. Normally we get a little gold and it's pretty, but this year there's tons of gold and even red in the leaves!
• Had to laugh at myself last Sunday when I went to Arbor Hills with my roommates but only got to stay a half hour due to sunset. I had miscalculated the time, since we had moved our clocks forward the night before.
• My apple pie scheme turned into applesauce due to a lack of time and a proper recipe. Alas! we got a bunch of apples and had great plans for them, but so far nothing has come of it.
• When I'm not working, planning house devotions, running errands or sleeping, I'm gradually getting sucked into Stargate Atlantis. Totally different crew, totally different feel, but I enjoy it.
  
• Got to have coffee with one friend, and planned lunch with another. Sadly the lunch date fell through but I'm hopeful that it'll work out soon.
• This week I went out to lunch w/ five different people! Yay for Arbys, Indian and Panda!
• Apple cider has got to be one of the coolest uses for a humble fruit. Amazing!
• Learning that if you post more than one world prayer request on the internal staff website, you get tagged at least three times in two weeks to take part in prayer meeting.
• I love one liners... to a fault, probably. But it's great to quote random movies with family and friends... just for a laugh.
  
• Yay for bookstores that let ya park yourself and read any book you want!
• Thankful for a faithful God Who answers my prayers for patience, humility, wisdom and submission... even when I'm not looking for it.
