Forgetting my cheesecake for the 3rd day in a row (woe is me!)

Does anybody understand why gov't offices insist on physical proof of ID? Dumb question ;) Oh well. I had to run home for my social security card, in order to renew my license. Hey! at least my picture ought to be better than the one I've had the past... 6? years.

Had an odd experience while roaming around Facebook. Realized that the last names of the few people I knew before coming to TX aren't stored in my memory. No fun trying to find friends w/out last names.

Been challenged the past little while to really know what the Bible says - and stand on it.

I got inspired and managed to write an entire newsletter over the course of a workday (yes, I worked too).

I've been encouraged in that I've seen some specific answers to prayer. Encouraged that I could detect them (sometimes I'm bad at identifying them). What's the use of knowing the Bible unless you act like it's true?
